Although currently RN Clinical Coordinator for the VA Hospital in La Jolla, California, Kate is no stranger to show business. She was the Assistant Technical Director at the Old Globe Theatre for five years, after working her way up as an electrician, carpenter and scenic artist. She then headed up their maintenance department for another 2 years while working on her nursing degree.
Kate has been riding motorcycles since she was fifteen, after teaching herself to ride her Enduro in the back yard of her Mom's house. She wrecked that bike and bought a Honda Ascot 500, which she rode until acquiring the Magna. She is working on a Master of Science degree in Nursing Administration, which leaves her little time for much else, but when she can get away it is to a 33,000 acre ranch in southwestern New Mexico where she helps wrangle guests and/or cows. She got the nickname "Cutter Kate" because of her uncanny ability at cutting calves from the herd.
This from her husband: "Everything they say about redheads is true! Don't mess with them."
