Mark Heiser is currently Managing Director of the New York State Theater at Lincoln Center, home to the New York City Ballet and New York City Opera. He was formerly General Manager of Cal Performances at the University of California, Berkeley. Mark has been riding and writing about motorcycles for 8 years. His writing contributions include "A Journey into History Along Oregon's Colombia River Highway" (Aug 2001) and "Riding with the Philosophers" (Dec 2001) for Motorcycle Cruiser Magazine and, most recently, "Independence Thinking" for Backroads (Nov 2006). He is currently straddling a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1600.
