Bill ”Stretch” Meyer
Hometown: Fullerton, California
Age: 59
Years riding: 41
First Bike: 1969 Yamaha 305 (2 cycle-sounded awful, but was really fast)
Bike for the ride: 2004 Harley Davidson Softail or not
Bill is joining the LRLR ride for the first time after being badgered by “Grits” for many years. He pays his bills by being a Professor of Theatre and the Technical Director at Cal State Fullerton. He is the former Technical Director for Center Stage & the Baltimore Opera Company and Shop Forman for National Scenery Studios. Bill has been known to do silly and strange automated scenery with Loren and Jon in So Cal.
He has been happily married to Barbara for 29 years and would like to thank her and their children Daniel, Jesse & Anna for putting up with his motorcycle habit.
Hobbies include model railroading and following the Green Bay Packers. He used to pitch slow pitch softball, but that was before the crash.
He is a bit concerned about the length of the ride since he was able to put over 45,000 miles on a 1985 Yamaha Virago 700 without ever leaving Orange County.
