Bill "Unka Bill" Sapsis

Unkle Bill, one of the founding members of the LRLR, is very much looking forward to his 9th year riding with the group and hoping his girlfriend Christy Havard will join him this year.  When he's not riding a bike he's riding herd at Sapsis Rigging which he founded in 1981 (!) or wrangling standards and certification for PLASA NA. Bill's current project is organizing the 2012 North American Theatre Engineering and Architecture Conference which takes place in New York City this coming July.  Bill is a USITT Fellow and a Eva Swan Award recipient.  In his civilian life Bill has 3 kids and a cat.
