Mr. Murphy is trying again for his 4th adventure with the Long Riders after suffering last minute cancellations in both 2010 and 2011.

The K100 is a ride change, replacing the '88 K75 which made the first three trips. The debut of the "new" ride was originally scheduled for 2010 in California but Murphy's Law intervened at the last minute.  With only 170,000 miles on the odometer, the "new" BMW is just getting broken in.  It is even all the same color!

After serving four years in the US Coast Guard as an Icebreaker Driver, Frank ran a successful Stage Equipment Company for over 30 years. The next ten years were spent as a contract Field Service technician.  "Retired" now, he only has three part time jobs and looks to the bike to help fill the idle hours in his day.

Frank is a founding member of TDA (aka ESTA, aka PLASA NA) and The ESTA Foundation. He also served as ESTA's treasurer for a brief time. Frank has been riding since the early 1970's and his first ride, a 1963 Honda S-90, is in the garage, slowly being rebuilt as a grandson project.
