Uncle Bill reports:
Our final day was spent in the Badlands. The pictures tell the story, I can't do it justice other than top say the ride was great. Mike got his new radiator and is back up to speed. We stopped at Wall Drugs, of course, and got our free ice water.
When we got back into town we did a few laps at the go-cart place.. I'll leave it up to David to tell (or not) what the outcome of our race was. It's a good thing we're leaving tomorrow...that place is addictive.
A final dinner together, then we sat in the parking lot watching the Rapid City fireworks. Tomorrow we head in our different directions. Mike and I go home. Most of the rest are headed out west.
It's been a great trip and I want to thank everyone who donated or helped in some way. Individual or corporate, large or small, right down to the guy who gave five bucks in a parking lot somewhere in Kansas. You made this trip possible. And I want to thank Greg Williams, Alice Neff, Matt Williams, Moe and Christine Conn, Cris Dopher, Mike Sapsis, David Edelstein, Wayne Rasmussen, Pat Barnes, Greg Johnson, Loren Schreiber, Rob Hamilton, Scott Miller, Sarah Gowan and Joe Norton. You made this trip happen.
