Bar Harbor to Bangor via Eastport. The beginning of the morning started off with a trip into Acadia Park. It was Great! Then off to Eastport on US Coastal 1. It was a wonderful ride. The weather was interesting - blazing hot then almost chilly as we moved along the coast.
Eastport and our lunch destination The Happy Crab was fantastic!! Jeff Starling and his staff were great. They BOUGHT 11 T-shirts, gave us a discount and even added an "I Support LRLR" patch to their wall.
After lunch we headed for Bangor. We raced the weather and rode in 1.5 miles of rain before the bottom dropped out of the sky. Rob and Scott ferried us to Chili's where we were treated excellently. Thanks Frank!
