The riders started to converge on Bill's house around 3 on Saturday afternoon. First to arrive was JD on his very nice looking rented Harley. Then it was Rob in the van followed closely by Greg, Alice, Matt, Dennis, Moe & Christine. Scott Henkels and Scott Miller arrived later in the evening.
Dinner on the back deck was fun and just about everyone got their turn on the rope swing. Several neighbors and Sapsis Rigging staff folks came by to join in the festivities. The weather was hot but it wasn't raining. Moe & Greg decided to wash their bikes before turning in for the night, thereby insuring bad weather for the next day. Ida did her annual blessing of the bikes and Emma blew bubbles on us from her room.
The only rider not with us was Mike Sapsis. He had to go to Boston at the last minute for some family business and will join up with us in Middlebury.
It was great to see everyone. We spent the better part of the evening catching up with one another and listening to stories of Rob's travel adventures.
